Ruth Woodiwiss of Winnett, a senior citizen who was very active with older people in the community, died 
Thursday at the age of 66.

Mrs. Woodiwiss was born Nov. 2. 1913, m York, NE, the daughter of Lawrence and Margaret Kauth.

She moved to the Roy area in 1914 with her parents and was educated in the Roy and Dovetail schools. She 
was united in marriage with Doyce (Woody) Woodiwiss in Lewistown July 27, 1959, and moved to 
Winnett in 1969, In addition to being a housewife, Mrs. Woodiwiss cooked in cafes.

She is survived by her husband; five daughters, Esther Irish of Roy, Harriet Irish of Lewistown, June 
Larson of Great Falls, Elaine Goette of Stockett and Carol Martin of Roundup; a stepson, Charles 
Woodiwiss of San Francisco, CA.: a stepdaughter. Roseanne Woodiwiss of Minneapolis, MN ; three sisters, 
Ava Zahn of Roy, Lucille Komarek of Lewistown and Edith Oquist of Edmonds, WA.

 Funeral services for Ruth E  Woodiwiss were held Saturday at the Creel-Morrison-Retz Chapel with Rev. 
David Iverson officiating.
