Wright were held May (Wednesday) at the Creel-Morrison-Retz Chapel with interment in the City Cemetery. Wright, 90, died Friday morning at Valle Vista Manor after a lengthy illness. Born June 4, 1896, he was the son of Caridge W. and Katherine Wright. His schooling was in Chicago. He came to Roy in 1914 when he filed a homestead north of Roy. He farmed and ranched that until 1945. In 1932 he married Ruth Kauth. In 1945 they moved into Roy when he went to work for the Chevron Hulk Plant and service station. In 1947 he purchased me station and hulk plant and operated that until he retired in 1978. He married Ruth S. Carr in Glendive in 1964. She preceded him in death in May of this year. Wright was a member of the Eagles Lodge. Survivors include five daughters, Mrs Glen(Esther) Irish of Roy, Mrs. James (Harriet) Irish of Lewistown, Mrs. Larry (June) Larson of Billings, Mrs Ray (Elaine) Mendel of Stockett and Mrs. David (Carol) Martin of Roundup; three stepdaughters, Mrs. Lawrence (Eleanor) Helmer of Lewistown, Mrs. Frank (Betty) McArthur of Townsend and Mrs. William (Lillian) Mendel of Winifred; three stepsons, George E. Carr of Lewistown, William J. Carr. of Scottsbluff, NE. and John J. Carr of Belmopan Belize, Central America; 45 grandchildren and 45 great grandchildren; two brothers, Wal Wright of Lewistown, Stanley Wright of Meadow, Utah; and one sister, Lavina Lent of Oak Park, I11.
