CORA MOHN CHRISTENSEN Cora Mohn Christensen, 72, a former resident of the Flathead Valley, died Friday, Feb. 1, at Sacred Heart Medical Center in Spokane, Wash. She was born Sept. 26, 1918, in Kalispell, the daughter of Carl Mohn and Bertha Lee Mohn. She was raised and educated in the Flathead Valley, graduating from Flathead County High School in 1932. She married John G. (Gay) Christensen Oct. 8, 1941. They had resided in Somers and Kalispell for several years before moving to Troy in 1953. She worked in the Troy office of Montana Power Company for a period of 25 years until her retirement several years ago. Her husband, Gay, preceded her in death in 1983. She was a member of the Troy Church of God and currently served as church treasurer. She also had been a member and past matron of Kootenai Chapter No. 88, Order of the Eastern Star. She had been a member of the Kootenai Senior Citizens in Troy. She is survived by a daughter, Dorayne Clinkenbeard of Colville, Wash.; three brothers, Orville Mohn of Conner, and Mark Mohn and Harold Mohn, both of Kalispell; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren. Services will be Thursday at 11 a.m. at Troy Church of God with the Rev. Gene Bushnell officiating. Rites will also be conducted by the Order of the Eastern Star. Burial will be in the Milnor Lake Cemetery at Troy under the direction of Vial Funeral Home. Memorials may be made to the Troy Volunteer ambulance. --"The Daily Inter Lake", 6 Feb 1991
