T. Brandenburg, on Lamme street, Wednesday evening. It was the occasion of the marriage of Miss Addie J. Brandenburg to Andrew J. Walrath. The ceremony was performed by Rev. O. F. McHargue of the Christian church in the presence of a few intimate friends and relatives of the bride and groom. The wedding gown of the bride was a handsome white organdie, lace and and silk de soie while her bouquet consisted of white roses and carnations. In honor of the occasion the family residence was decorated with amilax and cut flowers, and as the bridal couple stood up to give their vows beneath the floral decorations the scene was an especially pretty one. At the close of the ceremonies a luncheon was served. The bride and groom are both well known in the community and the marriage is one of the events of the season in social circles. Mrs. A. J. Walrath is practically a Montana girl, although she was born in Benton City, Mo. At an early age she came to Bozeman with her parents, Mr. and Mrs W. T. Brandenburg, and received her education in the Bozeman public schools, graduating from the high school as valedictorian of the class of 1891. Since her graduation the bride has taught school in the country and in the Bozeman public schools. The groom was born in Ogdensburg, Mich., and received the greater part of his education in that state. He was county superintendent of schools for Gallatin county from 1894 to 1896, after which he was principal in one of the public schools of Great Falls. He was admitted to the bar of Montana in 1898, and graduated from the law department of Ann Arbor, Mich., in 1890, and is now the senior member of the law firm of Walrath & Byam of this city. The happy couple were the recipients of a large number of pretty and valuable presents. They will be at home at 410 Third Street south, after October 1.
