“Butte Girl Is To Wed In Bozeman Town Today

At the home of Mr. and Mrs. A[lfred] W[allace] Orton in Bozeman, at 10 o’clock 
this morning, will occur the wedding of Miss Viola Orton to Alvin Williams, Mr. 
Orton leaving for Bozeman last night to be present at the ceremony.  Miss Orton 
is a native of Butte and her parents have resided in Butte for more than 20 
years. Mr. Orton was formerly license collector under the Mac Ginniss 
administration.  Miss Orton and her sister [Pearl Orton] enjoy the distinction 
of being the first twin girl babies ever born in Butte.  She is an accomplished 
and amiable young lady and is well known here.  Mr. Williams has a responsible 
position with the Northern Pacific Express company at Bozeman.  He and his 
bride will leave this evening for Seattle, where they will spend a part of 
their honeymoon.” END
