THE GLEN HAWE FAMILY Born: Place: Died: Place: Occupation: He was a miner in the Garent area. Married: His wife was Edith Hawe. She died prior to 1978. Children: 1) son 2) daughter The Glen Hawe Family arrived in Garnet in 1934. They built a new house on the east side of the Garnet Hill. The Edith Hawe house is located on the Garnet Lode Claim and still stands in Garnet. He leased the Mountain View Mine and Majestic Millsite from Pearl Shipler in 1949.
