On sundays the Heard girls often came to the Adam's home, and Mrs. Adams would play cards or games with the girls. When weather was pleasant they too their lunch and walked to Warren Park, played on the swings, and visited with Mr. Warren, who lived nearby. The three girls had a short school term at Garnet school in 1926. Mrs. Cleary teacher, Edith Heard, Annie Heard and Mary Jane Adams were photographed in front of the Garnet School in 1926.
