WILLIAM "BILLY" LAWRENCE Born: he was born about 1905. Place: probably Garnet, Granite County, Montana. Died: Place: Occupation: he was a teamster hauling ore at various mines and near Bearmouth and Garnet, Montana. Married: Children: His father was probably a Garnet Miner and he grew up around the mining community. He was a friend of Myrtle and Earl Dahlberg (children of Gus Dahlberg) and was often photographed with them between 1907 and 1910. While growing up he wore coveralls and a floppy hat and ran the streets and hills around Garnet, Montana. References: Hammond, Helen 1983.
