THE BOB AND AGNES MCMOHAN FAMILY Born: Place: Died: Place: Occupation: Bob McMohan was a miner in Garnet. His wife Agnes McMohan was a mail carrier. Married: He married Agnes (Agie) ?. Children: The McMohans arrived in Garnet in the late 1930's after President Roosevelt increased the price of gold making it profitable to rework the mines. In the 1930's and the 1940's, Agnes (Agie) McMohan picked up the mail in Drummond and distributed it at Davey's Store in Garnet on Friday mornings. Along with the mail, she brought up groceries when needed. In the 1950's Bob McMohon was still living in Montana and still owns his house at Garnet. Bibliography: Wolle, Muriel Sibell, 1983.
