RENNER Born: Place: Died: Place: Occupation: He was a storekeeper in Garnet, Montana. Married: Children: The first fire in Garnet occurred in April 1898. The Renner and Schoenfeldt store burned when Mr. Renner left for Missoula leaving a stove lit. The fire was probably aided by the hasty construction of many of the buildings in Garnet where put up quickly with little thought being given towards performance. Bibliography: Daley, Dennis 1973.
