Occupation:  he was a storekeeper at Garnet, Montana in 1899.

His name appeared in the Garnet Miner News in 1899 and reads, "he 
prepared a supper for the stag party held at the Hotel d'Hanifer 
Aspen.  There was supper served at midnight and was prepared by 
Doc Thompson, which is ample proof of it being of the best."
