EARLY SETTLER DIES	

Bozeman, May 15.-- John McCartney Wylie, 70, resident of Bozeman for the last 
55 years, died at his home here Saturday after an illness of nine months. Well 
known as an agriculturist, Wylie formerly was employed by the agronomy 
department at Montana State college. survivors include the widow, five 
daughters, four sons, a sister and 11 grandchildren.
