He was a well known ranchman of the Bear Paw mountain district, and had lived in this city of the last 23 years. He was taken ill a few days ago with bronchitis and a slight attack of pneumonia. He was 62 years old and was a member of the Grand Army. His funeral took place today under the auspices of the Eagles, of which order he was a member. He leaves two married daughters, who reside at Quincy, Illinois. Mr. Zeely was born in Rochester, New York, Sept. 29, 1841. He enlisted in 1862 as a member of the 75th Illinois volunteer infantry and served three years in the army of the Cumberland, and was in all the engagements of that command. He was seriously wounded on Feb. 22, 1963 at the battle of Buzzard's Roost, in Georgia.
