EPILOGUE Special thanks to the descendants of the early settlers of the North Boulder Valley for so generously sharing their memories, that we might know the origins of many Valley stories and traditions. This booklet was assembled with the hope that these traditions might be kept alive and preserved for future generations, and that the children of this Valley might know their heritage and feel the pride in it that has been passed down from generation to generation. Our concern is to neither prove nor dispute the preceding pages, for when history is recorded it is often done in just this way...family records and stories passed along by word of mouth. It is for this reason that there are often times conflicting dates about specific events. Our earnest wish is that you will accept these stories in the context in which they were offered and obtain from them the comfort and enjoyment that we have from preparing this booklet. Special thanks goes to all the contributors without whose help this project would never have been possible.
