Elkhorn, was born August 28, 1858, at Bremen, Germany. After leaving school was employed in a banking house at London, England, four years. Came to the United States and was located three years in business at New York City, one and a half years at Salida, Col, and in March, 1883, removed to Fort Benton, Mont., to take charge of the branch house of Kleinschmidt & Bro., groceries and liquors. His present address is Elkhorn, Jefferson Co.
