KIMPTON - pg 1183 From Leeson's History of Montana 1739-1885 published 1885 SURNAMES FOUND IN THIS BIOGRAPHY: ROLLINS; KAISER E. A. Kimpton, P. O. Radersburgh, son of George and Sarah (Rollins) Kimpton, was born in Janesville, Wis., December 28th 1852. His father was a farmer, but held several town offices, among them town clerk of Wheaton. May 5, 1873, Mr. Kimpton came to Fort Benton by way of the Missouri river, and thence journeyed to Crow River Valley, where he took up a ranch of 160 acres in 1875, and is now engaged in farming and raising stock. He has a pleasant home and surroundings. Was married in 1879 to miss Carrie Kaiser, a native of California, of German descent. They have one child, Amy Edna.
