Beaver Creek, is a native of Pennsylvania, where he was born in 1844. when quite young his parents moved to Wisconsin, and after remaining there until Charles was fifteen years of age, settled in Minnesota. In January, 1871, Charles Lefler came to Montana, first locating at Helena, and afterward, in 1868, taking up a ranch in the Missouri valley, which consists of 160 acres, well improved and is used principally as a hay farm.
