MARION POOL - pg 1184 From Leeson's History of Montana 1739-1885 published 1885 SURNAMES FOUND IN THIS BIOGRAPHY: GRAHAM. Marion Pool, Jefferson City, son of Daniel and Jane (Graham) Pool, was born near Portsmouth, O., June 19, 1858. At 20 years of age he engaged in teaching school, which pursuit he followed for four years, and was afterwards appointed Deputy Sheriff at Portsmouth. He arrived in Jefferson City, Mont., in May, 1881, and passed his time in teaching school and clerking in a store until about the first of August, 1883, when he took charge of the Jefferson City Hotel.
