RAY - pg 1184 From Leeson's History of Montana 1739-1885 published 1885 SURNAMES FOUND IN THIS BIOGRAPHY: COLE; VEIM C. C. Ray, P. O. Radersburg, came to Helena with Frank Cole, bringing a band of thoroughbred horses, and after disposing of them, was employed by Huntley & Clark, at there well known Riverside stock farm on Crow Creek, and at Horseshoe Bend, remaining in their employ for three and a half years, when he began business for himself at Radersburg, since opening out a branch agricultural store at Townsend. Mr. Ray was born at Warsaw, Gallatin co., Ky., May 1, 1846, and followed the business of training horses int hat state until 1869, when he brought some fast stock to Nevada, going to Utah in 1876, and in 1878 coming to Montana. He was married to Miss Katie Veim at Radersburg, March 17, 1882, and has one boy, Charles Owen, born February 5, 1883.
