Anaconda Standard, May 4, 1900
Missoula, May 3. -- The funeral of Thomas Gogk, the Chinaman who died at the 
Chinese joss house Wednesday morning after a two weeks' illness, was buried to-
day from West Main street, the remains being buried in the county cemetery on 
the Rattlesnake. A large number of his countrymen attended the funeral. They 
took a wagon load of roast pig and a quantity of other stuff with them to keep 
the devil from taking their dead friend.
