EARLY SETTLER DIES

Missoula, Sept. 29 - Hugo C. Sonntag, 66, early day settler, died at his home 
here Thursday. Born in Germany in 1872, he came to the United States when nine 
years old, going first to North Dakota, and shortly afterward settling at 
Helena. Later he moved to Butte and then to Missoula, where he developed one of 
the city's leading painting and decorating businesses. Survivng him are his 
widow and daughter her and a brother, Robert of Helena.
