L. Setzer on East Granite street, when Miss Lillie Elderkin and John Butler were married. Miss Elderkin is a sister of Mrs. R. L. Setzer and has been the efficient stenographer of the Missoula Mercantile company. She made many warm friends during her short residence in the Garden city. The groom is a conductor on the Northern Pacific railway and is a young man of sterling worth. After the ceremony, which was performed by Rev. J. E. Neftsinger of the First Baptist church, the wedding party sat down to a sumptuous wedding breakfast, after which the bride and groom left for St. Paul and the bride's former home in Iowa, where they will spend two weeks, returning by way of St. Louis. They will be at home to their Butte and Missoula friends in the latter place about Aug. 1.
