H.W. "Had" Weston Geer dies in Sheridan

  Harrison "Had" Weston Geer, 68, died Friday at a Sheridan Hospital.

  He was born March 17, 1903, at Columbia, SD, the son of Mr. and Mrs. James 
Geer.  He homesteaded in the Biddle area in 1925 and later ranched on Young's 
Creek in the Sheridan area until 1966.  He married Lois M. Higgins on Sept. 12, 
1923 at Miles City.
  Funeral services were held Wednesday in Sheridan at the Chamption Funeral 
Home.  Burial was at Sheridan Municipal Cemetery.
  Survivors include the widow, three daughters, Mrs. Bill (Ila B.)Mader of 
Ekalaka, Mrs. Ray (Dora) Harvey and Mrs. Holland (Nola) McHenry, both of 
Sheridan, a son, Chan of Sheridan, two sisters, Gladys Reardon of Davenport, 
Wash., and Mattie Anderson of LaFayette, Ore., a brother Ray of Sheridan, 14 
grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
