Mr. Quinlan was born in Waterford, Ireland, 71 years ago. He went to Alder gulch, Montana in July, 1864, and to Deer Lodge valley in the fall of 1865. He thus belonged to the pioneers of Montana, whose ranks death has so frequently invaded the past years. He was an extensive land owner and stock grower and has associated with him his two brothers, John and Patrick Quinlan. Mr. Quinlan leaves a wife, three grown-up sons and three daughters. The funeral services will be held in the Catholic church in this city onThursday, Aug. 23, at 2:30 o'clock p.m. The burial will be at Oakland cemetery.
