The Anaconda Standard - March 7, 1920
March 6 -- Charles M. Fletcher, a Bitter Root pioneer died at the home of his 
daughter, Mrs. John ritchie, North Second Street, on Sunday Morning at the age 
of 81.  All of his children were at his bedside at the time of his death, they 
being Mrs. Brush of Anaconda, Mrs. Harry Lord of Missoula, Mrs. John Ritchie 
and a son William, of Missoula.  The funeral services were held on Monday at 
the Ritchie Home.
