The Anaconda Standard, June 28, 1899
Hamilton, June 27. -- Newton P. Woods of Stevensville and Miss Marcia Hord of 
Missoula will be married today at the residence of the groom's parents on Burnt 
Fork, near Stevensville. Mr. Woods is the son of Hon. E. P. Woods, who has 
represented Ravalli county in the last two sessions of the Montana legislature, 
and the bride is a sister of Miss Harriet Hord, county superintendent of 
Missoula Mercantile company at the University City, and the happy young couple 
will reside there for the present.
