Leavit -- James Leavit, aged 28 years died yesterday. He was sick only eight 
days. No arrangements will be made for the funeral until his brother arrives 
from Great Falls. The remains are at Duggan's undertaking parlors.

James Leavit, about 36 years old, died suddenly yesterday in his room at the 
Cecil block, 101 South Main. He had been ill only a few days of pneumonia and 
was a comparative newcomer to Butte. A brother arrived in Butte from Great 
Falls late last night. The body is at the Duggan undertaking establishment and 
the funeral arrangements will be announced later.
