Williams, 33 years old and a resident of Butte for 1 years, died last evening at his home, 1246 East Second street, after a long and painfull illness of dropsy and rheumatism. Wiliams had been a miner during many of the years of his residence in Butte and he had a large circle of friends. He was a member of Calanthe lodge, Knight of Pythias, and Washington lodge, Independent Order of Odd Fellows, both lodges being in Centerville. May friends mourn his death and it is the request of his family that no flowers be sent. Surviving him are his wife and one child, two brothers John H. and Frank Williams. His father and mother reside in England, were he was born. The funeral will be held Tuesday afternoon at the home, the body being taken to Grace Methodist Episcopal church, where services will be conducted by Rev. John Hosking of the Methodist Episcopal church of Centerville.
