He had boarded the car at Park and Main street, asking the conductor for a paper. While reading the paper he died, presumable from heart trouble. Mr. Wilson had lived with his wife at the Broadway apartments for a number of years. After coming to Butte he began work as a miner, working at that occupation for a number of years. For four years he was a member of the Butte police force, then he went to work in the mines again. After the work in the mines got too hard for him he was given the position as watchman at the West Colusa. As a miner and a member of the Butte police force Mr. Wilson gained a wide acquaintance and many friends in Butte. He was a member of the Lincoln post, Grand Army of the Republic, of Butte, having served three years during the civil war. Mrs. Wilson is the only surviving member of the family in Butte. One niece survives him. The funeral services will be held Thursday afternoon at 2 o'clcok at the Richards undertaking establishment. Burial will be in the veterans' plot at Mount Moriah cemetery.
