Gabse, Clerk of the District Court of the Second Judicial District of the State of Montana, in and for the County of Silver Bow, do hereby certify that I have compared the following Marriage License and Certificate with the original thereof now on file and of record in my office, and that the following is a full, true and complete copy of such marriage license, and of the whole therof, as the same appears on file nad of record in said office, to wit: The State of Montana No. A12450 County of Silver Bow. MARRIAGE LICENSE These Presents, Are to authorize any Judge of a Court of Record, and Justice of the Pearce within said county, elected or appointed by the Governor of Montana, therefore, any regular ordained Minister, who is in good standing in the religious denomination to which he belongs, or any religious society, according to the usages of said society, to solemnize within said County of Silver Bow, State of Montana, the marriage of Walter T. McColgan white man, aged 24 years, born at Virginia City in the county of Madison and State of Montanan and now residing at Butte in the county of Silver Bow State of Montana , and who has not been previously married and is now son of Thomas McColgan, and Amanda McColgan whose maiden name was Amanda Burger With Minnie Irene Stevens, a white woman, aged 19 years, born at Butte in the County of Silver Bow and State of Montana, and now residing at Butte in the County of Silver Bow, and state of Montana who has not been previously married and is now a daughter of Joseph Stevens and Minnie Stevens, whose maiden name was Minnie Vodden. Being duly sworn this 28th day of January, 1920, the applicant states the ages given are true and correct. McColgan and Minnie Irene Stevens; that said parties were joined in marriage by me on the 28th day of January A. D., 1920, at Butte, in the said County and State, in the presence of the undersigned witnesses, and that said Walter T. McColgan and Minnie Irene Stevens solemnly declared in my presence, and in the presence of the said named witnesses, that they took each other as husband and wife.
