The Anaconda Standard, January 10, 1917
Judge Joseph Mitchell in South Butte justice court did something yesterday that 
he never before in his life had done. He performed a marriage ceremony. Kaustan 
Condadakes of Missoula and Aurie Thompson of Perma were united in marriage. 
Former Justice A. McBride, who happened to be in the courtroom, and J. 
Reynolds, constable, were witnesses. Mr. and Mrs. Condadakes will reside on a 
farm near Missoula.
