The Holland Settlement Cemetery The Holland Settlement of Columbus, Montana 1915-1940 The Holland Settlement church site and cemetery are located on a five-ache plot in the extreme southwest corner of Section 15, Township 1N 20E. The old road can still be traversed by high clearance vehicles, but permission by local property holders is now required. It is also difficult to locate, since neither county highway maps nor roadside signs identify the site. It is located approximately 11 miles north of Columbus and 6 miles south of Rapelje, east of Lindemulder Hill. The foundation of the old Christian Reformed Church and the old Mountain View School building can still be seen in March 2001. Some tombstones and markers remain but most have weathered and disappeared.
