Albert Nelson
Albert Nelson, 61, Bakersfield, Calif., died late Wednesday 
evening in a Great Falls hospital. He had been spending the 
summer in Montana, helping his sister, Cecelia Adams of Cut 
Bank, with farm work, when he became ill.

Born at Ethridge, near Cut Bank, Nelson drove an oil tanker 
out of Cut Bank before moving to California in 1941.  He is 
survived by his wife, the former Gertrude Wilson, of Bakersfield; 
a son, Dane, Bakersfield; stepdaughters, Marjorie McCulloch, 
Napa, Calif. And Ruth Coke, Bakersfield; six grandchildren; 
his stepmother Ellen Nelson, Cut Bank; and three sisters, Mrs. 
Adams; Christine Wickersham, Coeur d’Alene Idaho, and Margaret 
Jordan, Milledgeville, Ga.  Services and burial for Nelson will 
be Monday, in Bakersfield under direction of the Hillcrest 
Memorial Park Mortuary. Croxsford and sons Mortuary handled 
local arrangements.
