Morning Oregonian November 24,1904
Butte,Mont.,Nov.23- Overcome by gas following a blast, Grego Finni fell to 
this death as he was ascending a bucket shaft on a prospect near the Mountain 
View mine. About onethird of the way up he fell from the bucket to the bottom 
of the shaft and wa sinstantly killed. Rescuers descending the shaft had great 
difficulty on account of the gas.
