Reid rreid21@cox.net August 14, 2008, 10:31 am The Billings Gazette, Feb 26, 1960 The Billings Gazette, Friday, Feb 26, 1960 Area Pioneer Dies in Home Funeral services for Miss Ida Elnora Danford, 77, of Rt. 1, Billings, will be held in Smith's Chapel at 3 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Vern L. Klingman of the First Methodist Church will officiate, with burial in Mountview Cemetery. Miss Danford died in a Billings nursing home Wednesday of infirmities of age. She was born June 9, 1882, on the Danford ranch west of Billings, a daughter of Mr. and Mrs. George L. Danford. She had made her home with a sister, Mrs. E. Westover. Besides Mrs. Westover, she is survived by two brothers, Charles of 3030 Orchard Lane and Sam of Sheridan, Wyo.; two other sisters, Mrs. Lena Marsh of Auburn, Wash., and Mrs. Carl Crosser, east of Billings.
