Hubbard, 76, of 112 N. 31st St. will be held at 1:30 p.m. Tuesday in Smith Chapel. Mr. Hubbard, a retired steamfitter, died Friday in a Billings hospital of a heart ailment. He was born Aug. 1, 1881, in Mode, Ill., a son of Mr. and Mrs. Curtis Hubbard. He lived in Ft. Collins, Colo., before moving to Billings in 1908 where he was employed by the Great Western Sugar Co. until 1926 when Great Western transferred him to Nebraska. He was married in Billings to Jessie L. Guy Aug. 3, 1915. Mr. Hubbard worked in Minitare, Neb., until 1941 when he went into defense work. He returned to Billings in 1943 and retired here in 1954. He was a past master of Minitare Lodge No. 295, AF&AM; a member of Plumbers and Steamfitters Local No. 30 and the First Christian Church. Survivors include his wife, a sister, Mrs. Susie Elliott of Stewardson, Ill., and a niece, Mrs. Ralph Augenstein of Detroit. Burial will be in Mountview Cemetery. The Rev. Marion McQuarry, pastor of the First Christian Church, will officiate.
