John Alford Williams, 65, died late Wednesday night here at the home of his sister, Mr. Charles Danford. He was born in L'Avenir, Canada, on Dec. 1, 1867. He lived there until he was 27 years old and moved to Graniteville, Vt., where he was employed as a quarryman. On Sept. 26, 1929, he was injured while working on the Rock of Ages quarry and since that time has been paralyzed and blind. After eight months in a hospital at Barre, Vt., he came to Billings to make his home with Mrs. Danford. Besides his sister he is survived by a nephew, Earl Williams of Billings and by two brothers, Fred Williams of Graniteville, and Joe Williams of Franklin, N.H. High requiem mass will be celebrated at 9 o'clock Saturday morning at St. Patrick's Catholic church and interment will be in Mountview cemetery.
