Miss Ella Guid of Stonewall, Okla., was united in marriage to Samuel Jay 
Pickens of Laurel at the home of S. E. Cassidy on North Twenty-sixth street by 
Rev. O. G. Shanklin, pastor of the Christian church at Joliet. After the 
ceremony an elaborate wedding feast was served at the Colonial.

The groom is a young business man of Laurel. Mr. and Mrs. Pickens will make 
their home at Laurel.
