Wilson County, NC - Radford Family Cemetery Copyright. All rights reserved. http://www.usgwarchives.net/copyright.htm This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by Bud King - bud5082@earthlink.net I made these photos of three little tombstones in a cultivated field across the Highway (117) and not far off and a little south of the former location of Lower Black Creek Primitive Baptist Church (near the Town of Black Creek in Wilson County (NC). There is no name given this cemetery. These 3 gravestones were around a tree which had been plowed around very closely. These little white specks were barely visible. The following is all I could read: (1) JACK, Son of Jas. & Bettie Radford, May 22, 1910; May 22, 1911 In this little grave world wide hope...; (2) RUBY GORDAN, Son of Jas & Bettie Radford, Mar. 14, 1914 - Gone to be an angel (3) ANNA MELVEN, Dau. of Jas & Bettie... The Church is across the road (Hwy 117) from the little Radford Cemetery.
