Agreement Between Dicky MOORE and Hiram JAMES - Alamance County, NC Submitted for use in the USGenWeb Project Archives by MS LOUISE T OVERTON Agreement Between Dicky MOORE and Hiram JAMES Alamance County, NC Deed Book 2 page 82 Know all men by these presents that we Dicky MOORE and Hiram JAMES both of the said County of Alamance the said Hiram JAMES agrees with the said Dicky MOORE to bind his son William JAMES to him the said MOORE till the said William is twenty one years old which is six years to larne the saddler and harness trade and the said Dickey MOORE is to give the said William when he is twenty one a sett of saddlers tools and twenty five dollars and the said MOORE is so bound to the said William and find his clothin the said Hiram JAMES agrees with the said MOORE that his son William JAMES may work with the said MOORE in Alamance County or any joining County till the said William is twenty one years old as MOORE thinks best and the said MOORE is to treat the said William well and the said William is to obay the said MOORE strictly giving under our hands and Seals this the 6th day of December 1854.
