The Standard of Raleigh Jan. 20, 1864
FIFTY DOLLAR REWARD --I WILL GIVE THE
above reward for the apprehension of a negro boy that absconded from ELIAS
ALBRIGHT, Alamance County, North Carolina on or about the 28th of November, 
1862. Said boy is 23 years old and named JOE, is 5 feet 6 inches high, weighs 
180 pounds, has a scar in his eye and a wart on the eye lid, has thick lips 
and is very black. My address is Company Shops, North Carolina
