She was 67 and of the Methodist faith
A native of Chatham County
Office manager for the law offices of George Weaver in Chicago
Funeral: Conducted January 8 at Rich & Thompson Mortuary chapel, Burlington
Officiating: Rev. Dr. William J. Andes
Burial: Alamance Memorial Park
Survivors: husband, Richard E. Caplan
1 daughter, Miss Donna Elizabeth Weaver of San Francisco
2 sons, George Edward Weaver and Michael Carter Caplan, both of Chicago
Mother: Mrs. Elizabeth Hall Braxton of Burlington
2 sisters, Mrs. Carolyn Braxton Gabriel of Elon College and Mrs. Deanna Avent of
Winston-Salem
2 grandchildren
