Infant son of Charles James (C.J.) and Inez (White) Holt.
Footstone: C.A.H.

Additional Comments:
This would have been my oldest brother (born 1st) if he had lived. 
I am told the baby was born the 4th day of May with a deformity. Back then, 
doctors wanted to wait 3 mos. to perform surgery however he did not make it. He 
died May 17th, 1950. My poor Mom (God rest her soul) never got over the loss of 
her firstborn. She was known to hide the pictures away of his funeral services 
and take them out at intervals during the year (i.e. birthdate, death date) and 
cry. She lost another baby 2 yrs later, buried in same cemetary Oakwood, 
Mebane, NC). Her name was Iva Maria Holt born premature. Died same day. Jan. 
24, 1952
