Item Second: I Will, and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Ellen the land on which I now reside, during her natural life, and at her death it is to be divided equally between my two sons to wit: James S. Stafford, and George W. Stafford, if living. If dead then to go to their lawful heirs. So as to let James S. have the part on which he has built, and now lives, and that George W. have the part on which I now live, the land to be divided as near equal in value as it can be, without taking any of the buildings into consideration, and that James S. have the privilege of the use of part of the barn as he now has, if he has not got one built at his home. Item Third: I Will and bequeath to my beloved wife Mary Ellen, any and all other lands or parts of lands, or interests in any business or Co. in which I may be in possession, at my death. Together with any and all money on hand or due me by note, acct. or otherwise, as the case may be, so that there may be no detriment caused to any business that I might be engaged in that would need a conveyance from me and receive the pay therefore, as I my self would do were I alive. Item Fourth: If there is any of my estate remaining at the death of my beloved wife, it is my will that it be equally divided between my two sons James S. and George W. Stafford if living, if dead then to their lawful heirs. Item Fifth: I Will and bequeath that my beloved wife Mary Ellen be executrix of this my last will and Testament with full power to adjust _____________ or litigate any and all matters that I my self could do, either her self or to appoint an agent for that purpose or to assist her to execute the business for the best interests of all concerned.
