Albemarle County, NC - Deed – Hibens & Harbort to Thomas Norcom, 1697 ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~ Perquimans Precinct, Albemarle County Deed Book A, No. 128 Albemarle County Know all men by these presents that I James Hibens and Elenor Hibens and Jane Harbort widow doth hereby alienate and sell and make over of and from us our heirs Executors Administrators and Assigns a certain plantation lying and being at the mouth of the Indian Creek in Yeopim River together with Houses Orchards gardens Nurseries with all timber and timber trees there on lying or being there together with two hundred and Eighty acres of Land buting and bounding between James Fishers and Sarah Johnson as by the Surveyors return to the Secretaries Office will more at large appear the said Land together with all the above mentioned premises we do acknowledge to have sold and delivered with warranty to Thomas Norcom his heirs or Assigns for Ever of and from all manner of persons or person whatsoever laying any title or claim to the same. As Witness our hands and seals this twelfth day of July 1697.
