Written: October 25, 1670

Recorded 25th Octob 1670.  This indenture made the eyghteenth day of July 1670 
between Thomas Tull and Jane his wife of the county of Albermarle of one party 
and William Basnett Segr of one party of the County of Lower Norfolk, wittnes 
that the said Thomas Tull and Jane his wife for and in consideration of two 
thousand five hundred pound of good sound merchandable tobaco and caske to 
him ? and before the sealing and delivery of these present will truly in hand 
paid, by the said Wm Basnett Segr ? ? the said Thomas Hill and Jane his wife 
dou acknowledge ? full satisfied in consideration whereof they have granted ? 
bargayned sould and confirmed and by those presents ? fully ? and ? grant and 
sell and confirm to the said Wm Basnet Segr all that plantation ? ? John Brays 
and is in the patton of the said Wm Basnett Segr and now in his occupation 
with all the howses theron and is everything thereto belonging to have and to 
hold the same to the only proper ? of the said William Basnett Segr his heyres 
Exeq, and adminstrator or assignes for ever and further the said Thos Tull and 
Jane his wife will ? the space of three months after the date hereunto 
acknowledge the sayle thereof to Wm Basnet Segr and his heyres Exoquotors 
adminstrator or assigns for ever, in wittness whereof of ? have hereunto left 
our hands and seal the day above.

Acknowledged in Court 25 Octob 1670 by Jane Tull and by her in behalf of her 
husband
