January the 20th 1693

In the name of God Amen.

I William Hoskins of North East Branch of Matacomhack Creek in the County of 
Albemarle within the Province of North Carolina being Sick of body but of 
perfect and sound memory thanks be to the Almight God for it, I doe make & 
cordaine this the be my last will & testament in the words following.

I give to my ..... halfe of this [big gap] ........... having Sons and then 
Daughter.

Item.  I give to my brother Thomas Hoskins Two Cows & Calves that I have at 
Will. Windlay and also I give to him my dwelling house & my shairs of my 
Plantation.

Item.  I give to my Godson(?) Danill Cox Junr. the plantation I bought of 
James Cox.

Item.  I give to my ..... my ..... too Cows & Calves Negroes & ......

I give to my brother [in law] Daniell Cox my crop of ..... wolsy & ..... as it 
is to pay my Debts.

Item.  I give to my Sister Ann Cox my Beds & full furniture that belongs to 
it. & all other movables and all other things to She & her Sonn Daniell to be 
Equally divided between them both.

Item.  I make my brother in law Daniell Cox whole Executor of the my last will 
and Testament as witness my hand and seal.
