Will of Jeremiah Perry, Albemarle County; 8 October 1694

In the Name of God Amen I Jeremiah Perry not knowing how soon it may please 
God to remove me out of this transitory life but being of Sound and perfect 
memory doe make this my last will and testament thereby renouncing all other 
will or wills,....... or legacies thjis to be my last will.

ImprimisI bequeath my Soul to God the giver hoping for Salvation in and 
through the merits of Jesus Christ and my body to ye Ground to be decently 
buried by my Executor after named.

Item.  I give and bequeath unto Christian Blount, daughter of Mr. Tho. Blount 
[his granddaughter by his daughter Mary] two of my best Ews 10 Calves by their 
hides(?) to be delivered to her or her order evently(?)  after my death 
without lett or hinderance.

I give and bequeath unto my loving wife Jane Perry all & whole ye remainder of 
my Estate  real & personal whether it consist in lands plantation Stocks of 
Cattle horses household Good Debts or whatsoever else be or shall be properly 
belonging to me at ye time of my death to her heirs executors or assigns for 
ever she paying all my just and lawful Debts.  

Lastly I make constitute and appoint my  loving wife Jane Perry my whole and 
sole Executrix of this my last will and testament in writing wherof  I have 
hereunto put my name & Seal the 8th of October in ye year of God 1694.
