Old Mt. Pleasant Cemetary is 1 mile east of Old Mountain 
Road on Smith Farm Road, Alexander County, N.C. It is on 
the right side of the road on a hill surrounded by cow 
fencing. Church was formed 1820 and disbanded in 
1891.Graveyard is almost totally destroyed by cows 
trampling the tombstones.

Additional Comments:
I am certain there are more headstones buried in this cemetery, but I do not 
know how to find them unless I can get help brushing away much leaves, dirt 
and cow manure.
