Landmark of  Statesville, N. C. Dec. 1,  1883
Night before last the residence of MR. OSBORNE LOCKEY of Sharpe's township, 
Alexander County, was entered by burglars who robbed it of a considerable 
amount of money and other property. The persons who bring this news to 
Statesville are unable to  tell the amount of loss.
